Have you ever heard of internet of things? If you say No that's not of much wonder but If i say you know this term and you have been using this in your day to day life, Isn't it amazing because you might be thinking that every thing i am using i know, but now u realize you don't know a few things you have been using in your day to day life.
Lets not go to this part and first learn about the definition, What is IOT? Like we have Internet for people which is for communicating with each other, exploring the world, getting in touch with unlimited supplies and many other. Similarly Internet of things is communication between things or we can say non living things. A very common example of this is a Smart band, it records your data, communicates with your Mobile/Tab, can be used to regulate it remotely and many such other uses.
How is this useful? Now a days every company is working on this concept for making their products smarter then ever, For example Suppose You own a car and there is failure in its Carburetor, which is working 70% of its efficiency. In this problem if in todays world we will not know the failure until it is damaged or the car stops and you take it to a mechanic.
Looking with a different aspect in IOT, If the carburetor is working with 70% efficiency and has faiure chances in future, The Car controler will recieve a message from carburetor and it will be stored in the database and will be forwarded to the Service centre, In the service centre the Computer will check for the availability of part and if available forward the message to your car which will notify you for the damage and will automaticaly schedule a servicing and notify you with confirmed time and date.
How easy life would be with this, From office I can switch on my geyser so that water is warm until I reach, You can operate your AC, TV every thing remotely. This can be very effective in every field we can think of In Medical, Engineering, Shopping, Travelling. It has a vast field and have unlimited benefits for the users.
